Wow Phoenix, hearing this makes me feel special. To be compared to Edgeworth as well...I'm really shocked, in a good way. You know, ever since that case, I had a feeling we would meet up again. It's been wonderful having you as an apprentice.

But it's strange now; I keep wanting to deceive myself every time we talk. We're from different times and places, but yet, I want to accept you as the real Phoenix, instead of the one I know from my world. That sounds petty and selfish of me...but it's true. I can't even look your other self in the eyes anymore, without thinking of you.

Wow. Um, I'm not sure how to respond to that, honestly. Maybe it would help to know that it's with your help that that other me becomes the person I am now? Actually, I'm kinda embarrassed right now...
