Journal Entry: April 17

...Eh, what the hell.

you are darkviolet
#9400D3

Your dominant hues are blue and magenta. You're the one who goes to all the parties but doesn't quite fit in at every one... you know what you want, but are afraid of what the world might think of it. You're a little different and that's okay with them, and if you're smart it's okay with you too.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life is brighter than most people's. You like the idea of influencing things for the better and find hope in situations where others might give up. You're not exactly a bouncy sunshine but things in your world generally look up.

I dunno, does this seem to fit? Feels kind of like it to me, but you never know how other people see you.

"I wouldn't surmise you go to all the parties. You'd go to the right ones, but not all of the buggers."

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Well yeah. Who has time to go to every single party anyway? Sheesh.

[identity profile] turnabout-fey.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, from my perspective, that sounds pretty accurate.

Except for the part about going to 'all of the parties'. Unless you had a wild time in college and/or you've been having too much fun in the Sanctuary lately. Either one would still be a shock to me though.

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, no clue where that came from. I mean, I DID go to a few parties in college, but who didn't?

[identity profile] turnabout-fey.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 07:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess these crazy memo boxes have to make no sense at times.

...

That wasn't my thing to do while in school, unfortunately. So no, I never actually attended a college party.

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 07:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? That's too bad. They could be a lot of fun, especially when I was with Da --

...

Well anyway, it's not like I was a 24-hour party person, though I'd usually go to the ones Larry threw.

[identity profile] turnabout-fey.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
...Oh, really. Hmm...If it makes you feel any better, I did go to a party. Once. And it was only for a hour or so. Nothing spectacular.

And how were those parties, if I might ask? Were they like your typical college gathering, in which everyone gets overly intoxicated and goes wild?

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 07:50 pm (UTC)(link)
They varied. Some were pretty quiet get-togethers. Larry's weren't, of course, but that was Larry, and of course he seemed to have a different girlfriend every single time he threw a party. (I'm not sure how he got so many college students at his place. He never even WENT to college. Guess he was good at getting the word out.)

[identity profile] turnabout-fey.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Sounds like each party was never a dull moment then. And this Larry friend of yours seems to have a problem with women, I take it? Especially if he's changing girlfriends so often.

Wow, thinking back to those college days makes me think of when we first met. Even though it was under...unusual conditions.

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 08:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I don't know. He keeps dating these really high-profile women -- models, mostly -- and ends up getting dumped by them half the time. Nice guy, but a total flake. You, um, might get a chance to meet him in a couple months, actually...

Yeah... um, the Nexus mail sent me something weird the other day, by the way.

[identity profile] turnabout-fey.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 08:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Sounds like the high-profile women want to take him for his worth, and his possessions. I'm guessing that it has something to do with the future, no less. I'll be prepared for it when the time comes then.

...Oh no. Phoenix, I hate to ask, but what did the strange postman send you this time?

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 08:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. And, uh, tell my alternate to freaking relax when it does, okay? Sheesh.

...

There was a package in front of my door. It had a pendant. With a heart-shaped bottle.

[identity profile] turnabout-fey.livejournal.com 2007-04-18 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
You know I will do that. Given the fact that everything stays the same as your time-line up until then, of course.

...

Oh, ha ha. The Nexus needs to stop sending things like that. Unless, of course, it's trying to tell you something.

Just don't do what you did in the past, okay? That incident shocked me to no end.

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-18 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, sorry about that. Stupid in love I guess. Or just stupid, I don't know. Still, it was a pretty horrible shock.

[identity profile] turnabout-fey.livejournal.com 2007-04-18 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, it's in the past now, so you don't owe me an apology. The case is done and over, and you've begun to change for the better now. Thankfully.

It's still something else to think that you eventually came to work for me years later. I figured that you would've latched onto a different lawyer, instead of coming back to me. Not like I'm really complaining about it...I just find it ironic.

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-18 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
Well, to be honest? I was kind of hoping you'd take me on. You made such an impact on me during that case, you know. When you believed in me and nobody else would, that's when I knew you were the one I wanted to train under. Because that's what I saw a defense lawyer as being: a person who stood up for somebody who had nobody else in the world. You reminded me of Edgeworth on that day...

Sorry, getting sentimental I guess.

[identity profile] turnabout-fey.livejournal.com 2007-04-18 12:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow Phoenix, hearing this makes me feel special. To be compared to Edgeworth as well...I'm really shocked, in a good way. You know, ever since that case, I had a feeling we would meet up again. It's been wonderful having you as an apprentice.

But it's strange now; I keep wanting to deceive myself every time we talk. We're from different times and places, but yet, I want to accept you as the real Phoenix, instead of the one I know from my world. That sounds petty and selfish of me...but it's true. I can't even look your other self in the eyes anymore, without thinking of you.

It's alright. You're going to get me all sappy here as well now.

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-19 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
Wow. Um, I'm not sure how to respond to that, honestly. Maybe it would help to know that it's with your help that that other me becomes the person I am now? Actually, I'm kinda embarrassed right now...

Er, anyway. Yeah. Nexus does strange things.

[identity profile] clever--fool.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 09:06 pm (UTC)(link)
I think it's pretty accurate, if you see "going to all the parties" as a metaphor. You might not actually go to parties, but you know a lot of people and are accepted and liked by most of them (it seems) even if you're a little more 'normal' than most everyone else here.

Now, this is the part where I'd make some horrible and insensitive comment about how that color goes with your hair right now, but I got a particularly homosexual-looking shade of pink so I'm not allowed to talk.

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess that works, actually. Hadn't thought about it like that. Thanks, Li!

...yes, you're not allowed to talk. Damnit, I wish Max would turn up again.

[identity profile] clever--fool.livejournal.com 2007-04-17 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Me, too - I want to get this over with and get you and everyone else back to normal.

Mostly you, though. Because I like you and seeing you like that seriously hurts my brain.

[identity profile] cutslikeasword.livejournal.com 2007-04-18 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
Not too sure about the first paragraphs, but the last one is quite accurate.

[identity profile] wright-idea.livejournal.com 2007-04-18 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
You think so too? Huh. At least I've got SOME confirmation.

[identity profile] cutslikeasword.livejournal.com 2007-04-20 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it would be surprising if it wasn't. It acts on a bias.

[identity profile] octopus-hubris.livejournal.com 2007-04-21 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
I would consider you optimistic and pro-active, at least. Those internet tests really seem like a waste of time, to me. I got 'dark green'.
