Three days.

Three GODDAMN days.

Somewhere, someone has just taken three days out of my life. I don't know what they did or why they did it. But because of whatever they did to me in those three days, the stupidest, easiest tasks are suddenly impossible for me to do. They didn't just damage my brain, they TOOK parts of it. Can't write, can't make a sandwich, can't tie my damn TIE...

I'm going to find them. I'm going to find them, and I'm going to drag the truth out if it kills me. They thought if they erased my memory, they could bury what they did, but they can't. They messed with the wrong lawyer.

I WILL find them. And I will reveal them for who they are, and what they did.

Not a clue, which is the frustrating thing. Out of all the people in the Sanctuary, I probably would have the least interesting brain chemistry of the bunch, being just an ordinary human. So who the hell could've done it?

I have no clue. I don't even really have that interesting a brain. About the only thing odd is the barrier Kaa gave me, and I don't even think I'm the only one that has that. So why me?

If you're referring to Clair, she's the doctor I pulled at the Clinics. Pretty lucky, actually.

I don't really know... have you picked up any stalkers through the Nexus? There are quite a few sick people around here, and it doesn't seem impossible that someone from, say, that sleazy bar you've been going to, for example, would have abducted you for their own means.

Yes, Clair is the one. I'm glad that she could help you; even if she can be a bit too experimental at times, I trust her and her skill as a doctor.

Slea -- Otto, really! You could at least GO to it before deciding it's of low character. Sheesh.

Yeah. Boy, T-Bone steaks. You should've seen her salivating during one of my investigations. The cast and crew of the studio we were looking into had apparently had t-bone steaks for lunch. You'd be surprised how handy that was.

Well...there is one last thing I want to ask you about. What can you tell me about Edgeworth? We met once a while back in the Nexus and well, our conversation didn't end well.

Looks like someone needs to get back to studying. I'm just kidding actually.

Oh yes. Her collection of Steel Samurai toys is unearthly. She actually has me buy them for her and then send to Kurain Village afterwards.

Phoenix, you haven't seen anything yet until you have a toy-store clerk giving you funny looks for buying figures. Especially if you give them the excuse that it's for your little sister.

About... Edgeworth? Um, well he's a good guy underneath, but he has a bad habit of internalizing things, I think. When I first saw him after so many years, he tended to just avoid whatever was bothering him instead of actively facing it, either through work or whatever. Which makes sense, considering his background, but it made for some tough work in trying to get him to talk -- or even let me defend him. He's just recently started really opening up now that he's found out Von Karma's method of doing things was wrong, and that a demon of his past has been slain.

What else... uh, he gets behind whatever he's doing one hundred percent, that's for certain. It's a trait he had even as a kid. He's kind of arrogant, but I suppose growing up in a rich family will do that. But he's very helpful if he's not the one up against you in court. That's about it, I think... I'm still trying to figure him out more myself.
