edgeworth i fucked up. i wanted to believe engarde was innocent, but he's not, and now if i win the case a horrible man goes free, an innocent woman goes to jail and maya will never speak to me again, and if i lose maya dies, and ah god edgeworth im an absolute fucking idiot

There is a way to get through this. You just can't lie down and give up on it! There's another answer inside of those two choices you have right now. You just have to think outside of the box and figure it out. It's going to be hand, but you're not fighting alone.

If you give up right now, then you've let me down. And if you was a terrible lawyer, then why did I take you up as my apprentice? You want to know why? Because you have a greater potential that you're giving yourself credit for. So stop moping and beating yourself up and get to the bottom of this problem.
