What. An awful. Week.
First Li and I get on the wrong side of a psychotic alternate. THEN Ivy gets some sort of ludicrous LOL that gives her all the symptoms of pregnancy in maybe a tenth of the normal time she SHOULD have it. NOW I've apparently got two "kids" running around that are some sort of clone hybrid of Edgeworth and I -- and to top it off, GANT may be behind this bullshit somehow, and using Ivy's LOL to set it off. I don't even know how the hell he could've done it. He's got no access to that sort of technology...
Gant. Christ. He's getting along way too well with that creepy boss of Georik's, and he's got a GODDAMN PIN. I don't think I could have a bigger feeling of foreboding if I TRIED. Nexus sucks.

Re: [text/anonymous]
Ivy's gonna keep the kids, she said, even knowing what they actually stemmed from. I'll do what I can to support her, but I feel really guilty she's had this happen because of someone from MY past, and I'm sure Edgeworth is probably feeling the same. You'll have to meet them, though; they're actually pretty sweet kids in spite of the brain-breaking nature of their origin.
*sigh* Yeah, yeah, I know, running gag of the century. "HEY, LET'S SNAG THAT PHOENIX GUY, HE'S WUSSY ENOUGH." Makes you wonder if someone up there has a really sick sense of humor. But I've got some critter Cynthia let me adopt, and Otto's working on something that'll prevent unwanted PINs. So hopefully that'll be an end to THAT bullshit.
Are you doing all right? I want you to know that I'm behind you all the way no matter what you have to do.
Re: [text/anonymous]
...Anything and everything. I'm surprised that you're shocked by them having PINPoints, since those devices are easy to attain in the Nexus. Maybe Otto and the others can find a way to disable their PIN's eventually.
...Maybe in the future I will. Depending on if I can handle it or not.
There must be something about you that attracts the kidnappers. Don't ask me why, but I still like the idea of someone putting a chip on you so you're tracked even without a PIN.
...
Re: [text/anonymous]
Heh. Well, they'll probably spring themselves on you at some point anyway. They're both kinda handfuls. Just be warned.
Maybe. Could just be the fact I'm a regular guy living in the middle of weirdness. And... a chip? No offense, Mia, but I don't think I like the idea of people knowing exactly where I am at all times. It's a little too Big Brother, safety or otherwise. I mean, think of the lack of privacy. Um, anyway, yeah.
We'll talk when you come back. Probably will have a lot to discuss anyway.
Re: [text/anonymous]
Well, I guess solving the Gant problem will take a lot more effort than expected.
I'll try to be prepared when the time comes then.
None of us are 'regular', now that we've discovered the Nexus. The chip was actually Otto's idea, and I just thought it was a rather good thought. I mean, considering how much you get kidnapped, and then...Never mind though. You have a very good point, Wright.
...I'm just shocked that you figured out it was me so quickly.
Re: [text/anonymous]
EVERYTHING with Gant takes effort.
Yeah, um, it'd just be weird. But like I said, he's working on SOMETHING, so hopefully that'll put an end to matters.
Well, I just sort of hazarded a guess, to be honest. Couldn't think of anybody else who'd express annoyance at my constant state of, um, kid...nappedness. Um, yeah. Anyway, I've worked with you long enough.
Re: [text]
...
Yes, we have worked too long together, if you can tell it's me througha simple little box of text. Anyways, Wright, I guess I'm not sure what to say to you right now.
Maybe...maybe it's best that we talk face to face sometime over this.
