...Okay, let's get this straight.

I have an alternate. Not surprising. I'm just shocked I haven't met one earlier.

He's younger and Japanese. Well, I can deal with that. It means having a rather blunt reminder of my own immaturity at that age, but whatever.

He's been looking for Edg -- er, Mitsurugi. Well, yeah. Part of what solidified my decision to become a defense attorney in college was confusion over Edgeworth's bizarre 180 in terms of his career choice, and my complete inability to get together with him just to ask WHY.

He's been looking for Mitsurugi because he's in LOVE with him.

It was one of those L-O-Ls in the nexus. Damned things. Not an excuse, but it's the reason I have.

I don't really feel that way about women, and I sincerely apologize for that.

Is there a way I can contact her, or shall I come back to the Sanctuary?

I wouldn't think you did, honestly. I thought maybe you were one of the clones or something for a bit there. But thanks for the apology.

I think I'd better talk to Maya first. It seems like she gets a little more put off this place every time she comes. I'm not even sure I can get her back in there, but I can hopefully at least reassure her that it's not all bad. If she does come, though, you can apologize then; I'm sure she'd appreciate it.
