Journal Entry: April 3
Apr. 3rd, 2007 11:06 amSo it's been a pretty crazy week. With Rassilon flipping out on the younger Dr. Crane and being put into a coma for his troubles, and with Eiko and Rylie mind-switching accidentally and subsequently sending poor Eiko to a mental state of seven, it's almost tempting to downplay my own problems in comparison. I guess the Nexus really doesn't choose to play favorites when it does decide to mess with people.
Speaking of my own problems, I still have frustratingly little to go on. Rassilon has helped a little, but even with the memory draw I can only figure out the following:
1.) It has something to do with a combination of Kaa's mental barriers and those damn pens Li, Kon, Changeling and I got stuck with.
2.) Wherever they were keeping me, they were making sure that even if I did remember what happened, I still had nothing to go on as far as tracking down the culprits.
3.) Deb is related somehow.
That last part confuses me. I wouldn't have made the connection at all if she hadn't asked about her dreams, and if it hadn't coincided in part with some of the more surreal things Rassilon managed to draw out of my memories. Why would Deb have any connection with any of this? She's not her alternate, she's human. Maybe she's got some sort of ability we hadn't counted on? Either way, it's only of moderate use unless she can remember any further specifics than "lawyer in mouse suit." (The hell was up with that, anyway? Dreams are weird.)
Birthday's on the seventh. Maya is insisting on dragging me somewhere that weekend, so don't be surprised if you don't hear from me for a while.
