Journal Entry: Feb. 21

Talk about a crazy few weeks. The Li alternate that was running around trying to replace the Li I know is gone, sent on some impossible sound errand by Snape. The mysteries have been cleared up, and the Li I know was able to come out of hiding. I'm having a hard time feeling entirely happy, though. On the one hand, Li -- er, the little one, and I know this is sort of confusing -- is alive, and for that I'm eternally grateful. But an alternate of his DID die at the hands of the older's alternate, and his father is probably the first I've heard of that's actually a very good father. So to have his first experience with the Nexus be the loss of his son... it's almost too sad to bear. I know I shouldn't feel guilty, but it's sort of hard not to.

Boy, that's hard to keep straight.

Also, apparently one of my alternates is a convicted sex offender. Yet another thing to add to my list of things the Nexus taught me I could've gone the REST OF MY LIFE WITHOUT HEARING, THANK YOU.
