I've decided to keep this record in order to keep my own head straight while the Nexus is so badly fractured. People and events have changed as a result of whatever's caused all this, and it's hard to figure out what's what. So this is what I've found out so far about what's happened to everybody:
Me: My year's gone back about six months. Fairly mild, since I still remember everything, and it doesn't seem to have affected what I've done in the Nexus.
Otto: Lost a cat. Also mild.
Some: Seems to have turned into a young human boy. I think I heard Otto mention something about "Grue farms," which I don't really know anything about. However, if Some's inability to communicate and the number I spotted tattooed on the back of his neck is anything to go by, it's a very bad thing.
Georik: His entire timeline seems to have gone back to when he was thirteen, although apparently he still has vague memories of his adult actions in the Nexus.
Li: Has apparently been dead for a year now by his account, and is now a ghost.
Gabe: His older form has disappeared, and his alternate has taken his place in their timeline. He's convinced it's all a dream.
Savannah: Thinks the alternate Gabe is her father.
Osborn: Has been replaced by an alternate who's a shell of his former self. It's pretty disturbing, actually.
Nyoka: Has turned into, uh... actually, I don't know WHAT she's turned into, but she looks kind of like a fish.
Clair: I don't know about the others, but the one who apparently has a personality control is now a guy.
Janoah: Is human. Which wouldn't be so bad if she weren't apparently an avatar of a solar system. I don't really understand the details.
Ara: Seems way more standoffish than usual. I'm also not sure whether the kiss she planted on Rylee -- and Rylee's subsequent reaction -- is an alteration of Ara or of Rylee herself.
Miki: Is currently dealing with a bunch of dead heroes who have come back to life.
Novak: Stuck as a lizard.
Changeling: Has somehow become even MORE oversexed than he was before. I don't know how that was possible.
It's all messed up, and we have no idea where Rassilon -- who I'm convinced is the only guy who can really help fix things -- is. I'm hoping it wears off, but who knows?
As far as my own predicament goes, a couple of really odd things happened today. I ran into Larry today, which I expected. What I hadn't expected was for him to be the quivering ball of misery that he was when we met. Apparently his girlfriend (yet ANOTHER model) dumped him. When I'd seen him previously on this date, they were still together, and it wasn't until the middle of July that she dumped him. Maybe I'm misremembering?
