Phew. Not that I don't love the Nexus, but that vacation was definitely what I needed after the whole mess with Kon's clone. Once I was in decent condition, I took a train out to the mountains for a little rest and relaxation. Man, I need to go mountain biking more often, though -- I don't think I realized how out of shape I was until I went a couple miles.

Still, it's good to be back. I'm just going to try and relax a little, I think. Get into the "Nexus LOL" spirit. Maybe I won't be so uptight. I've definitely got a lot of people to call, though.

The Grue-things seem to enjoy playing with your insecurities, Georik. Personally, I'm tired of them playing with mine. They should either just suggest a punishment or stop hitting me with that, I say.

"Exactly.... Even I know when too much is too much." He couldn't look at Phoenix in the eye, which is rather hard - considering he have to look down quite a ways to avoid eye contact.

"It'd be obvious I'm lying if I said I was okay." He tilted his head, even as he continued to look away. "Just been reminded of things... I am not ready to deal with."
