RP POST: The Perils of Personal Ads

He doesn't want to take the responses, but he knows they're coming.

Well, he thinks he knows. Maybe he'll get lucky and nobody will respond at all. But Phoenix somehow doubts he's that lucky, to be honest. With his luck it's going to be some crazy person with a gun, or who is an assassin in their home dimension, or thinks the color green is really funny. Or who jumps straight to sex. That seems to be common in the Nexus.

He sits in his office, tapping his fingers nervously. Phew. He wishes he could find whoever posted that thing.

((Feel free to post responses to the personal ad here! Poor Phoenix.))

Phoenix is now thoroughly and completely embarassed. He knows Edgeworth is joking at this point; however, the combination of alternate antics, unwanted personal ads and Nexus LOL has definitely taken a toll on his dignity. If he had any.

He takes the documents anyway and mumbles thanks. "I'll... try to get 'em read by tomorrow," he says, looking a little like a little kid as he does. Business. A surprising breath of fresh air today.

It must totally not be helping that Miles is totally unphased with tormenting his rival. He almost feels bad. Almost.

"Good. You have my number if you have any questions." He pauses, before he leans forward a bit. Not too much, because he's expecting the door to slam shut in his face anytime soon.

"..or if you want to reconsider.." Jerk to asshole status in 0 to 60.

"Ha ha ha." Consider door slammed. Asshole.

He goes back to his desk, trying to regroup. This could take a while.
