RP POST: The Perils of Personal Ads

He doesn't want to take the responses, but he knows they're coming.

Well, he thinks he knows. Maybe he'll get lucky and nobody will respond at all. But Phoenix somehow doubts he's that lucky, to be honest. With his luck it's going to be some crazy person with a gun, or who is an assassin in their home dimension, or thinks the color green is really funny. Or who jumps straight to sex. That seems to be common in the Nexus.

He sits in his office, tapping his fingers nervously. Phew. He wishes he could find whoever posted that thing.

He smiles. "The museum, huh? Is it a nice one in Gotham? I think I might want to see it sometime." Which may or may not have a question attached to that

He blushes again. "Well, uh, thanks. You're not so bad yourself," he replies.

She grins lightly. "Well there's actually a few different museums in Gotham. But the World History museum is one I frequent, along with the Natural History museum. They're both nice. I've been told they're lovely to see." She bites her lip quickly. Go courage go. "...Would you like to go sometime?"

"...T-Thanks." Now she's blushing too.

He ponders. He hasn't dated at all, since... HER. But maybe... maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to try again? After all, she was an anomaly, and it was silly to cut himself off based on one relationship gone bad, wasn't it?

So he smiles. "Yeah. Yeah, I'd like that."

Of course that gets a bright grin from Ivy. Asking him had been hard due to her own hang-ups. The fact he said yes made it much better. Much mental happy squeeing.

"Um. There's a new display this weekend, it's a Norse thing that's on tour. Would that be all right?" She thought it would be interesting. "There are also other enents going on too at the art galleries, and the Natural History muesum if Vikings don't float your boat."

Phoenix thinks. "This weekend? Yeah, that might be nice. I haven't really had a proper day out in a while... I might take you up on that."

If nothing else, he's never been to another world. This... could be interesting.

She looks happy. Mostly because this is so...nice. "I'd like it if you did, but you don't have to if you don'r want to. Oh and if you do? It's usually hot in Gotham this time of year. But um, jackets are handy. It rains alot towards the evening."

She's trying to be sure he doesn't feel pressured. Oh and she still can't belive how well this is going.

Phoenix nods. "Okay, well, it's a date then. Um, if you could give me the PIN coordinates and a time?" Phew. He hopes this goes well. He can be a total dork romantically.

She nods in return and pulld up the cordinates on her PIN, so he can see. She can't see them of course. "...How does four sound?"

But he's doing pretty well. He hasn't scared her off or anything.
