RP POST: The Perils of Personal Ads

He doesn't want to take the responses, but he knows they're coming.

Well, he thinks he knows. Maybe he'll get lucky and nobody will respond at all. But Phoenix somehow doubts he's that lucky, to be honest. With his luck it's going to be some crazy person with a gun, or who is an assassin in their home dimension, or thinks the color green is really funny. Or who jumps straight to sex. That seems to be common in the Nexus.

He sits in his office, tapping his fingers nervously. Phew. He wishes he could find whoever posted that thing.

"So, any luck with that so far?"

Li is so amused. And Phoenix is cute when he's flustered, which only adds to the amusement.

"...Wait, what?" Oh shit, have the crazies finally started answering the ad? Because that would be the start of the end, and --

Er... "Any luck with what?" He's now confused. Like that's hard.

"Oh, er, a few hits, including you..." [And you are so getting crossed off the list ANYWAY.] He seems to be trying to rally himself again. "Um, I'm Phoenix, what's your name?"

"Ahh. I'm L-- Lily. Lily Linden." Yeah. That's it. "It is absolutely a pleasure to meet you, Phoenix."

There is a little curtsie which manages to not reveal a pantyshot despite the shortness of her skirt.
